What pegasus said. I assume they will do another one in the future anyway so there will be a time and place when some of us get our chance. |

Pete - if the woman didn't pay you then you can apply for a final value fee credit. Make sure you send the woman the unpaid item notice, even after she's said she isn't going to pay. This also opens a case against her. You have up to 32 days to send her that notice, so it sounds like you're still barely within that window. eBay will contact her and say essentially, "look, bitch... you got 4 days to pay this shit." After that 4 days is up you can close the case and you'll get a credit for the final value fee. Also man, if a person wants to get around the $4 eBay shipping, then charge shipping based on location and enter the weight and whatnot of the package and eBay's calculator will determine shipping for each buyer who sees the page based on his or her address. If you want to factor shipping materials and a little handling into the price, then tell eBay that the package weighs slightly more than it does. Gamester81 - Dude, man.. yeah the post office blows. They stand around the place like collective bottles of piss making $20 an hour and wonder why they're 9 or 10 billion in debt. Anyway, I want you to have better luck in the future getting your packages from Japan... so I wanna let you know that you can reschedule deliveries on a date that you're free to be home to receive the package. You won't even have to stop by the post office and you can schedule the redelivery if you're out of town on the road. Go to https://redelivery.usps.com/redelivery/ the next time you have something coming that requires your signature and you'll be out of town on the expected delivery date. |

Johnny, the guy sent you the candy because you didn't know that gummibears are called Haribos (a german company that invented them) over here in europe, when Oliver (InvidNinja92) was mentioning them in Episode 64. Btw. its so funny for a native german speaker to hear you guys trying to read german words. Love it! Great Episode! Edited by Nerox, Jan 12 2012, 07:43 AM.

I reactivated my Netflix account recently and took the time to watch Special When Lit last night. I have to say, a lot of the more extreme pinball addicts they interviewed seemed very uhh, "haunted", to choose a word carefully. I tend to be quite the secluded loner myself and I'm far from "normal", but some of them sounded more like drug addicts than collectors. I could go on with my life if I lost my collection, some of those people, almost sound like they couldn't. I suppose there's varying amounts of compulsive hoarding amongst some of them, and pinball is admittedly a fair bit more tangible than gaming. It also seemed like a lot of the people interviewed didn't quite "get" video games to any degree, although that could have been the result of careful selection by the film maker. It's kind of strange, considering that video games have replaced pinball's position within society, transitioning from a reclusive "nerd" activity to being something completely accepted and mainstream, while pinball has experienced the opposite. Yet, even the younger members of that old school pinball group seemed to act like video games were some strange foreign cult. Anyway, it was well worth the watch. I forget what other documentaries were talked about during the episode, I'll have to re-listen to remember what they were. Great episode as always guys, many thanks. |

Johnny was bringing up how he's tired of the same old same old (kart racers, FPSs, etc), but when Square Enix comes out with something different like Final Fantasy XIII he complains. That's why these companies keep things the same. Gamers don't like change. |

Just like how I don't need a 4th re-release of Final Fantasy IV yet I'm buying it on PSP because "OMGMANITWASTHEFIRSTRPGIEVERPLAYEDOMGOMGOMGOMG". Squeenix makes what it does because it sells. |

To be fair, maintaining a franchise over a long period of time is probably very difficult; it limits the developer to having to make games that fit fans' expectations, but at the same time people can be critical if little changes. All about treading a very fine line... Anyway, great episode as always! Was nice to see the next Rhythm Tengoku/Heaven/Paradise/etc. mentioned, I'm a huge fan of that series and the new game is actually my most anticipated of 2012. Cheers for that Pete! Gamester was on fire! The Man of 1000 Puns was on his A game! But You guys brought up the Mario Party breaking sticks and blisters, the modern day equivalent is UFC Undisputed 2009 and 2010. The submission system required you to rotate the right analog stick and it broke some of the casing around my PS3 Controller, the 360 just gave me a callus. I had 2009 on my 360 then 2010 on the PS3. They re did the Submission system for Undisputed 3, so the Rotating the Analog stick is gone |

Hehe, Jason, those mini-games in Mario Party 1 are banned in my household as well. When those minigames come up everyone has to put their controllers down. When I played with my family back in the day we all had our own separate controllers. When those minigames came up I would never play them and guess who has the only controller that still works? |

I'm sick and tired of the sellers on ebay who have apparently never learned how to send packages in the mail. One time I ordered like 5 or 6 GBA games from a seller on ebay..... just the carts (only because they were games that I really wanted to play) and they sent them in a huge box with no bubble wrap or nothing. The game's labels all got completely damaged/ripped off. Took like 6-7 months for that guy to refund me my money....... like you said Pete ebay sellers really need to get their sh*t together!

No controller with pixels version: My logo design/brand concept was to represent the podcast graphically by incorporating the new look and feel of current generation and older generation games. |

Wow John was on fire. When he said "it's defenetly not a flat note" I totally lost my shit.... Anyway, I remember recently seeing a documentary on people meeting over online games that was just called "Second Life". It was kinda weird to say the least. |

According to Johnny, he was 22 when Final Fantasy VII came out, so that means he was born in 1975. Wow, he doesn't look it
